High Country Art Association Fine Arts Festival
July 3 - July 5Free
One of the most popular annual summer events in Arizona’s scenic – and cool! – White Mountains is the Fourth of July Fine Arts and Crafts Festival hosted by the High Country Art Association (HCAA).
“As the State begins to reopen and many residents appear eager to participate in outdoor activities we have decided to move ahead with holding this event,” explained HCAA Festival Chair Terri Petty. “Naturally we will enact all safety protocols as recommended by the CDC including signage, social distancing measures and hand sanitizing stations at each vendor booth.
“So far vendor response has been extremely positive. More than 50 participants have signed up.”
The family friendly show features a wide variety of work by artists from all over the country. Arts and crafts expected in 2020 include painting, scratch board, photography, glass, clay, and jewelry not to mention an assortment of specialty food products. The event also includes a popular silent auction with original art by members of the Association.
Located in the beautiful apple and pear orchard behind Charlie Clark’s renowned restaurant, at 1701 E. White Mountain Blvd., the event features food and drinks as well as live music. Festival hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. July 3-4 and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. July 5.
