MEMBERSHIP FAQS
How much does it cost to be a member of a chamber?
Membership dues in chambers of commerce are usually predicated upon the size of your company. You will see chambers calculate a company size with several different methods; everything from annual revenue to number of employees. Here at the Show Low Chamber we assess dues based upon type of company and number of employees. The fee structure will range anywhere from $150 – $800 depending on these factors.
Is it really worth it to be a member of a chamber?
The short answer is YES!—if you are going to be involved. Many people join their local chamber and then expect their phone number will ring off the hook. The chamber will send you referrals, but there’s more to it than just that. Membership in a chamber of commerce is an opportunity; and a good chamber offers you many to get involved and promote your company. This is a key advantage of membership. So, join. Get involved. Take advantage of the many opportunities your local chamber provides.

Standard Membership benefits
Website—Members of the Chamber will have a personal “Member Page” within the online membership directory. The single-page promotional page can have photos, videos, maps, specials, as well as all pertinent details for your company. The directory is set-up categorically helping patrons find your company or service easier. Members are allowed up to three categories for their company.
Printed Membership Directory—This is one of the most significant changes we’ve made to the Show Low Chamber benefits package. Our new directory is printed 4 times a year with over 10,000 copies printed and distributed each quarter in the local newspaper, the White Mountain Independent. This combination Chamber Directory and Visitors Guide not only reflects chamber membership but provides a place for members to promote themselves with additional ads. This is also a Tourist/Visitors guide and includes activity and event information for its correlating calendar period. In addition to the publication and distribution in the local paper, another 10,000 copies is handed out at the Chamber office and all major events.
Chamber Calendar—This all-inclusive calendar is utilized throughout the White Mountain area, providing activities and events for the community and major events for the visitors. We want all events on this calendar and updates post almost daily.
Weekly Chamber Blast—The Chamber sends out a weekly group email promoting current events and activities to nearly 1000 recipients. As a member of the chamber, this is your weekly link to what happening in our area and chamber events.
Lobby Display—The Show Low Chamber of Commerce is also the Visitor Tourist Information Center for our town. This is the primary stop for folks visiting the area as well and new move-ins. We meet and greet hundreds of patrons every week. As a member of the Chamber, your company information will be in the TIC reaching right into the hands of potential customers.
Referrals—There’s no better place to receive a referral than from a Chamber of Commerce. We receive calls daily from our local and out of area patrons looking for a recommendation for your services. They call the Chamber because they trust companies that associate with chambers and they are looking to do business with companies we refer. This is a good source of leads for you.
Ribbon Cutting—A ribbon cutting ceremony is great way to get the word out that you are a new business, eager to service your clientele. As a new member of the chamber we want to help you organize a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony where we’ll officiate with a proclamation announcing your membership.
Participation and Sponsorship Opportunities—This is really where the ‘rubber meets the road!!’ Chamber membership is great, but participation is chamber events and activities is really where you will see the difference. As a member of the Show Low Chamber you have the privilege to promote yourself, your company and your goods and services through participation and sponsorship in Chamber events throughout the year.
